All right, all you little teen techers.  Teen Tech Week  2014 is here!





We've got all kinds of techno fun for ya.

Starting today, March 9, stop by the Teen Scene to compete in our QR Code Scavenger Hunt!  Fill out your card and turn it into the box by March 15 for a chance to win some terrific techy prizes.


Monday, March 10 we're making duct tape cases for all your cool gadgets.  6:30 in the Community Room!

That's not all though!  Oooh no!  Thursday we are watching the futuristic Ender's Game to wrap up our Teen Tech Week.

So be sure to stop by and share in the love of modern doodads and thingamajigs!

Teen Tech Week: Press Play @ your library!

This week is Teen Tech Week, and we're encouraging you to try out all the 'tech friendly' aspects of the library!

Along with teen computers and free wireless, we offer a variety of movies, music, games and audio books.

We also have a online services like homework help through tutor.com and our various databases.

We have a session explaining tutor.com this Wednesday at 4:30 in the RPL community room.

Also, you can vote on the left for which movie you want to see this saturday.

Without much fanfare, this week is nonetheless Teen Tech Week at the Teen Scene. Check out the items on display to see audiobooks, games, music CDs and DVDs available for you check out. But hurry, they go fast!

If you can drop in, take our survey that asks “What tech item could you least live without?” and enter to win a CD case or T-Shirt. Come this Saturday at 11 a.m. for our YAAC meeting, for pizza and soda, where you can share your ideas.

Our movie plans for this week (March 6): the Sci Fi anime masterpiece of Osamu Tezuka (Astro Boy, Phoenix) Metropolis (PG-13), which is 109 minutes long.

Next week (March 13) is Flightplan with Jodi Foster (PG-13), 98 minutes.
