Young Adult Advisory Council is this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Come on and voice your ideas for the teen scene!

FYI, this Friday also has a special author presentation. Obert Skye, author of the children's series Leven Thumps, will be speaking about his books at 2:30 p.m. this Friday in the Community Room.

1-31-08 Library Closing

The Library is closing at 3 p.m. today (January 31st), and thus there will be no movie tonight!

In the meantime, stay warm everyone!

Updated Schedule

Given that Valentine’s day is coming up, we’ve decided that February should have appropriate movies. But I figured a bit of action should come in between, so our schedule for the next few weeks looks like this:

Movie: Jan. 31: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (PG-13) 6-8 p.m.
Movie: Feb. 7: A Walk to Remember (PG) 6-8 p.m.
YAAC: Feb. 9: 11:00-12:00 p.m.
Discuss what’s happening, and what you would like to happen, at the library. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
Movie: Feb. 14: Pride and Prejudice (PG) 6-8 p.m.
Third Thursday Gaming Night: Feb. 21 6-8 p.m.
