Teen Read Week!!

Teen Read Week is here!

This week, we at the library encourage you to read for the fun of it! Find a book you can sink your teeth into and taste the reading goodness! We're talking about Books with Bite. Books that are as sumptuous as a beautiful rib eye steak grilled on hardwood fire. Or that grip you in their jaws and won't let go till the very end.

You're encouraged to drop by the library and fill at a review form to be posted on our bulletin board. Or vote for your favorite book of the year.

On Thursday, it's Third Thursday Game Night, and we're dedicating it to the one man who knows biting: Pac Man! Come and compete for the best score, and win prizes! On top of that, we have a Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament as well! This Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

BTW, I've extended the deadline for the poll on the left. Thanks for your imput guys!

It's October...

And we've got a lot on our plate for this month:

October 9th:

Movie: The Fly (NR), 6-8 p.m. Yes, the old 1958 Vincent Price "classic." This movie will either scare you...or make you spill over in laughter.

October 11th:

YAAC, 11-11:30 a.m. Don't forget to come to our young adult advisory council. Suggest movies and other programing ideas, complement, suggest, complain about what you don't like, whatever you wish!

Anime Club! 12-2 p.m. It's our second Anime Club meeting! This week we will be watching an episode of Fruits Basket.

This is all setting up for Teen Read Week from October 12-18. See you at the library!
