So, what is Fandoms United? Basically, if there is something you absolutely love/obsess over then this is the place to celebrate it! We all have things we are mad for, so let's get together and nerd out. Share your theories and headcannons. Have a good old fashioned debate over Marvel and DC. Finally, have a place to wear that awesome cosplay you made. We'll have speakers discussing illustration and prop distressing. Plus, I mean, there will be food. So you have to come to the Rogers Public Library for our first ever Fandoms United!

Spy Academy:

This Thursday at 3 pm: It's Teen Spy Academy: Learn the tricks of the spy trade at RPL! Train with games and challenges to see if you have what it takes to spy.

Then stay for Game Night at 6 pm. Board games, video games and more!

This Sunday at 2 pm: Demystifying the SAT

Getting into College: Understanding The SAT/ACT and College Admissions Process

All high school students and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Our speakers are nationally recognized for their expertise.  Bob Alexander has been profiled on CBS TV news stations and interviewed by National Public Radio about SAT and ACT issues. Dr. Sharon Alexander has served on the College Board’s advisory committee on financial aid and has visited over 50 top-tier colleges.  

WHAT PARENTS AND STUDENTS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SAT/ACT TESTS AND COLLEGE ADMISSIONS!

• Who should take the SAT/ACT, when, and why?
• What the SAT/ACT measures.
• How the SAT/ACT is used for admissions and financial aid decisions.
• How to find colleges that are right for you.
• What colleges look for in applicants.
