2. Set a goal for yourself.
3. Read!
4. Log your books online or at the library, and, if you want, submit a review!
5. We’ll have prize drawings every week and big prizes like a gift card or an E-reader drawn at the end. Plus, every one who completes their reading goal gets a free book. The top 20 readers will be eligible for our Teen Lock-In Party on Friday, July 28, so keep reading! The more you read, the better your chances!

DYK...
you can download & read magazines digitally on your phone, tablet, and other devices?
Rogers Public Library, in partnership with Recorded Books, offers the digital magazine service Zinio for Libraries, to patrons with a current Library card.
Newsweek, Food Network Magazine, Bicycling, and ESPN The Magazine are just a few of the popular titles available.
Zinio features full-color, digital editions for instant desktop reading, mobile streaming, and mobile-app download. You are able to select both new and back issues, adding them to personal reading libraries with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits to the number of magazines checked out and downloaded. And with personal notifications for your favorite magazines, you’ll never miss an issue!
Please visit us at the Information Desk or check the online tutorial for more information on how to access this service, or go to RPL’s website.

Teen Self-Defense Class
At the Rogers Public Library (and at the Young Adult Department especially) we aim to offer ways to equip our young adults with tools they may need in a wide variety of situations. Therefore, we’re pleased to again offer a self-defense class geared toward teens, run by Rogers Police Department Officer Keith Foster, on June 15th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. He’ll lay out some basic principles of defending yourself, and ways to avoid or get out of a difficult situation.
This event is free and open to ages 13-18. No previous self-defense training is needed. Registration is required. Sign up at the library or online while places remain.
Teen Self-Defense Class, Thursday, June 15, 2:00-4:00pm in the Friends of RPL Community Room
