January/February Schedule:

Happy New Year's everyone! Here's a rundown of the RPL Teen Scene Schedule for the next 2 months:

YAAC Young Adult Advisory Council: Second Saturday s, 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
Discuss what’s happening, and what you would like to happen, at the library. Refreshments will be provided. Event is for grades 8th to 12th.

Anime Club: 12-2 p.m. Second and Fourth Saturdays
Have snacks, watch an episode of an Anime program, as well a chance to share your anime artwork, fanfiction, or just chat with other anime fans. This event is for 8-12 graders and their guests. Sign up at the library, or send an email.

Thursday Movies: 6-8 p.m.
For Teens, 8-12th grade. Refreshments provided, but don’t take them out of the Community Room!

3rd and 4th Thursday Gaming Night: 6-8 p.m.
That’s right, Game Night is now twice a month. Join us every Third Thursday Night for Nintendo Wii games and more courtesy of The RPL Teen Scene and Game Crazy! Ages 13-18.Refreshments provided!

Special Events:

Duck Tape Workshop: January 13th, 4:00-5:30.
What can you do with a roll of duck tape? Make a wallet for one! Make something practical, or make something artistic at this workshop for ages 11-18. Registration Required. Sign up online or at the library.

Valentine’s Day Glass Etching: February 10th, 4:00-5:30.
Etch out a message for someone special in this craft event for ages 11-18. Registration Required. Sign up online or at the library.

Rogers Teen Book Group: 4:30 p.m. 1st Tuesdays of the month, starting February 3rd. We’ll be discussing Hunger Games by Suzzane Collins. Sign up online or at the library. Ages 13-18.
